I see it as an extra filtering system ... if a writer is only interested in a quick turnaround, and not open to constructive criticism then they should self-pub. Keeping them around is just going to create more work and stress for me.

I'd rather put my energy towards helping great writers who appreciate the effort. eg. Those for whom English is a second language, who write beautifully, but need a bit of extra help.
