I'm not sure what fact checking has to do with freedom of speech? I think I prefer a world where if people share lies, someone else marks them clearly as lies.

I also prefer a world where incitement to hate and violence is moderated. Just as I prefer a world ruled by law and order rather than lynch mobs.
